You know those times when you are free enough to forget about what time, weekday and date it is? A really sumptuary feeling there, which I’ve been enjoying for 4 days of alcohol. Time blurred into one big mess of enjoyment, the rooms of our flat became one big place where people would sit, lay on mattresses, chairs and I totally forgot to give you people the Friday post.

So it’s I have the same hangover right now- just a different day.

And I will give you the same Friday With Pippo- just on a different day.

KiD CuDi- Mojo So Dope

Dan Black released his track Symphonies a little while ago and ever since the track has taken on a life of its own being a heavily remixed track that gets itself around the joint.  Even Kid CuDi and Passion Pit have taken their skills to the track.  However we just came across a recent addition to the ‘remix’ of this great track, and well it is one of the best that we’ve found.  Duff Disco’s deep house remix is wicked and hey everyone has to like just a little bit of deep disco.

The heat has really taken a toll on me, even drinking water seems hopeless when trying to regain your sun zapped power. Lost summer re-edits might save my sanity if it isn’t to late. The Fashion Photography Blog had a great interview with David Leslie Anthony but now isn’t there so head over to his website for the whole spread.

“Splazsh” is the eagerly awaited new album from dj/producer Actress (a.k.a Darren Cunningham).  The release was a little while ago, but it’s just making the rounds down here in Oz so we thought we’d fill you in.  The fact that it is difficult to categorizes just expands it’s reach to listeners, but if you like a mix of dubstep, techno and house, well you’re in for a treat.

Nick Thayer is from my home town of Melbourne in Australia, and damn he is one wicked dj/producer. He released his album “Let It Go” last month and you can get a 5 minute mashup of the tunes he’s produced for it after the jump (highly recommended).  However, this post is all about Nick’s July ‘Straight Flush Mix’, because holy hell it’s grinding, deep, funky and full of mega beats, and for some reason you just start realizing that your body is moving uncontrollably with all of the sounds – “and I can’t stop man!”

Yet again Magicore delivers free music that’s legal and has you wondering why, but only shortly because you’ll be happy you just downloaded a 12 track album for free and that it just blew the last free album you listened to out of the water.  Monokle and Galun combine and form In Frame, a mixture of pop, hip hop beats, electro and indie vocals.

Amber Sowards studied Fine Art/Photography at Maryland Institute College of Art where she got her MFA and BA. Came across her photography at Flak Photo after seeing that Flak Photo partnered up with a nonprofit organization who brought twenty-five talented photographers together in Sante Fe last month and the beginning of this month.

Browsing through, the first real big impression came from Amber Sowards, but you can check out the rest of the talented photographers who are also featured here.

People you have to excuse me, but I’m not able to write anything big even if the following project deserves some dedication.  Today is my first real day off since a few weeks. Although I promise you will forgive me as soon as you join me on white soft clouds that will comfort you like a pillow fresh out of mama’s laundry.  The EP features the incredible Cults and a lot of fresh fresh insanely fresh air.

French band Dancing Pigeons new video directed by Tomas Mankovsky shot with a 7D camera had me wondering if they really used a flame thrower and would a fire extinguisher stop the blaze of a flame thrower?  The two guys in the video must of been on ‘Ritalin’ to perform such a stunt. Whatever the answer is their music is good and the video is even better.
