FRIDAY WITH PIPPO

I got so much music that I can’t decide what to put in here today and what not, this is why I’m not able to write something smart at the beginning. So please just hit the jump and see what I chose.

The first one today is so good it deserves it’s own post. But on the other hand it fits in here so perfectly that I would be stupid holding it back.

Use this mix, done by Brandon Sek, to warm up. It’s relaxed without being boring, so invite some guest open the booze and let that one play in the background.
Also I was somehow turned on by hearing a ‘Electric Feel’ remix again after all that time.

We leave the save flat now-  that one here by Dave Nada ( remixed by 12th Planet & Flinch) is not that brand-new but while exchanging some music with a friend this week this was one of the tracks that went straight into my veins when I heard it.

It’s called ‘Apokalypse Theme’ and I can see why- certainly not because it will lead Keanu Reeves or an other gay actor to save the world, but because it will do some serious damage on the dance floor.

Damage and dance floor  is a good catchword for what comes next. What Boris Dlugosch, Dj from Hamburg, created with ‘Bangkok’ caused a lot of celebration in the Blogosphere ( I’m starting to get used to that word I guess) and the remix by Roska only added to the fever, so this is what I’ll bring to you.

Boris Dlugosch- Bangkok ( Roska)

Hope you alright with an other uptempo one. I posted this tune about a week ago but I feel like it didn’t get the attention it deserved and also there is no better occasion than a Friday to post that once again. “So don’t be shy girl, this isn’t high school!”

Dances With White Girls- Jiggle Dat

Much less ‘ in your face attitude’, but not less quality on that amazingly cool- good vibration song by the french The Shoes ( in cooperation with Primary 1). That one came out when the weather was still nice, but it’s brightening up my day just now, so in case you missed that to some months ago- here you go.

The Shoes feat Primary 1- People Movin’

“Late night sex so wet and so tight,I gas up the jet for you tonight”- if you wanna end your night with that big of a hustle Anya Marina supplies the background music for you with her fantastic and creative interpretation of T.I.’s Whatever You Like.

Now one might rail at music like that as ‘house music’ and find it cheap. But I find that song by the Housewifes called ‘Dirty Dancing‘ ( no no just keep reading, no  Swazy homage or something) just great. If you gassed up your jet and you see the skylines below you ask your super sexy stewardess to play that tune in your private jet. Ah and please do not forget to smoke.

Housewifes – Dirty Dancing

Aaaand I’m out.
